Session Descriptions:

The Challenge Ahead For Recruiters Is Clear – But Which Path Will You Choose? (Jennifer McClure)
We all know the truth. Recruiting is NOT going to get easier in 2016, and competition for top talent is only increasing. But with great challenges create great opportunities.

As we face this uncertain future, whether or not our organizations succeed in recruiting and retaining the talent needed will depend upon the choices that we make.

Today’s recruiters and talent acquisition leaders are much like Neo in The Matrix – faced with a choice between the comfort and reliability of the known (“best practices and current beliefs), or the potentially harsh and difficult path of the unknown (creativity and innovation).

In this session, Jennifer will try and attempt to free your mind by sharing creative ideas, strategies and examples from progressive companies and recruiters that are blazing the trail into the future. Then, she’ll show you the door, and you can choose whether or not you’ll walk through it.

The Power of Workforce Analytics with Intake Meetings
After running a 200-person sourcing team, Mark knows the value of an intake call – how it speeds up the hiring process, reduces time to hire and frustration with hiring managers. He also knows that based on a recruiter work load, this is the last thing that actually gets done.

You’ll learn more about workforce analytics, tools (some of them are free!) and tactics that exist to help speed this all up so you can shine as a recruiting professional.
